Le foot? Non, certainement pas, meme si ils sont drogues a la Premier League anglaise, ils ne touchent pas une bille...

Le ping-pong? Non, mais ils aiment bien (l'unique medaille ramenee de Pekin l'ete dernier etait justement l'equipe feminine de ping-pong - constituee quasi uniquement de Chinois-mainland ne parlant pas un mot de Singlish...)

Le velo? Non.

La course a pied? Non.

Le rugby? he he he... mais non.

Le vrai sport national a Singapore se pratique en indoor, vous voyez? Non? Il y a un paquet de hooligans d'ailleurs ici qui sont fan, alors, alors???

Vous imaginez vous Bernard Kouchner intervenir pour faire liberer des "masseuses" francaises dans un pays accueillant comme le Pakistan??? Et bien pour les diplomates Chinois, ceci n'est pas un probleme!


Chinese massage parlour hostages freed

Hardline Pakistani Islamists at the weekend released six Chinese female hostages and one man, ending a 17-hour crisis that highlighted a fresh challenge to the regime of pro-US military ruler General Pervez Musharraf.

The kidnappings on Friday night from a massage parlour in an upmarket neighbourhood of Islamabad was part of a crusade by Islamists in the capital, targeting what they consider immoral activities. The Islamists claimed the massage parlour was in fact a brothel.

The incident threatened to dent Pakistan’s relations with China, its closest ally, and the Islamists later claimed to have freed the captives to preserve bilateral relations with Beijing.

The incident was the latest in a string of actions by Islamists in the capital. [rest of the article deleted].
